What is a Reiki Share?
A Reiki share is an opportunity for practitioners, students and first timers to get together and exchange Reiki, ask questions, share information and have great discussions. Students can bring their CEU credit forms for those of you working towards becoming a registered reiki practitioner with the Canadian Reiki Association. Each share equates to 2 hours of practice time and you can earn up to twelve hours of CEU practice during Reiki shares.
So what happens at a Reiki Share?
Each share is started with introductions, sharing of information like upcoming events that may be interesting to the group, questions asked and discussed and a brief Reiki review. Following this we will have a group meditation, a mini-attunement that will allow the 'newbies' to feel the Reiki energy flow for the evening, a distant healing to a person or situation, and individual healing sessions. For the healing sessions we work together in groups, one receiving the rest as practitioners. Each person will receive a treatment of approximately 15 minutes which will feel like much more because of all the practitioners working together!!
This is a powerful evening with lots of healing! If you are new to Reiki and are thinking about taking a class this is a great opportunity to experience Reiki and meet the Reiki Master/Teacher. Bring a waterbottle and a $20 donation is appreciated to cover costs.
